The weather was indeed cooler than last weekend. Unfortunately, wind was from the NE, a bad direction for our field. Kevin Dunn launched the veteran Drago the Red on a G80-7. The flight was beautiful, but Drago landed in the trees to the North of the cemetery and was lost to sight. This is not the first time Drago has spent significant time in a tree. We will go rocket hunting after the leaves fall. Discretion was the better part of valor for Tim Raney, our only other flyer. We quit early, and hope for better weather in August.
