This paper was produced by Michael York (Caveman '94) as an independent research project in Spring 1998. Mike made this paper of grass clippings, using the same process as that used for his unbleached paper, except that he added 1/4 cup laundry bleach per gallon of lye solution after the pulp was cooked. He rinsed this bleach from the pulp following the bleaching step.
This bleached paper is manilla in color. A one inch square of this paper was scanned and used as the background image for this page.
