Heart of Virginia Association of Rocketry

The Heart of Virginia Association of Rocketry is a chartered and insured section of the National Association of Rocketry. We are a group of hobby rocket enthusiasts who meet each month to fly rockets of all shapes and sizes. Our regularly scheduled launches are open to the public. You don't have to be a member of HOVAR or NAR to fly with us, but please know that we follow all NAR safety rules and regulations. Membership in NAR carries the advantages of personal liability insurance and a bi-monthly magazine. You can join our club by joining the NAR and specifying Section 704 on your application.
