Attendance is expected in this course. Any student with four or more absences will be withdrawn from the course. There are no excused absences.
Perfect attendance will be rewarded with credit for the attendance project which will count toward your grade the same as any other project. From time to time I may schedule a field trip which may be used to cancel or forgive an absence as far as this project is concerned. I will schedule as many field trips as I feel would be educational. I will not "make up" field trips at the end of the semester just to boost grades, so don't ask.
